Handmade Book

I have recently started making books. I own a Cinch bookbinding tool that I won in a raffle for Habitat for Humanity, and I love it. Here is a book I made for a good friend who loves tigers:

 Cover.
 Inside front.
 Inside back.
 Back.
I used chipboard for both covers, with regular scrapbook paper glued over it with acid free, archival safe adhesive. I work in a scrapbook store, so it was really easy to get the materials for this project. The pages are just regular 20# copy paper.

  1. Wow that's wicked. You could easily find lots of people who'd interested in them for scrap -booking, notebooks, writing, herb diaries, recipe books, they'd even work as BOS. Keep the pics coming.Love the back cover BTW! BB V )O(

  2. Thanks! This one is actually intended to be a BOS, but it's up to her if she wants to use it like that. I'm planning to have my herb journal full of information about the plants with pressed specimens for a visual companion. I just need to find the right paper. I've also been kicking around the idea for a Tarot journal, but again, I need to find the perfect paper for it.
